I'M IN (w/pic)

Northern Virginia ... its 11 hours away but what the heck .. my GPA isn't quite high enough for Tech, or UVA.

'sides, UIUC > Tech

and like I said, its my top choice school

School doesn't rank

Hell yeah .. i'm done with school (high school at least)

Now I can ask for WoW 😉

I'm actually ... not sure. Maybe try to snag a job with the local Lockheed Martin, if something more interesting doesn't come my way.

I was sort of debating whether or not to switch into Mechanical as well but ... as I see it, Comp. Engineering is more flexible job-wise.

Nice job. I applied for their EE grad school for fall 2005, but I won't know if I was accepted or not until probably next March or something.

Congrats! Might be seeing you there as just got accepted into their grad EE program (mixed-signal VLSI). 😉

You are already accepted? When did you apply, and for what term? The deadline for fall '05 was 12/15, are they already making decisions?

CE is more flexible than ME? What? 😕

Congrats, by the way. Maybe I'll see you around next year.

Haha, see .. i've been hearing different things. Trying to think of what job openings are in the area for Mech Engineering and drawing blanks, wheras Fairfax County is a pretty tech-heavy location.
