My daughter somehow contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth disease and had what I assume to be the worst week of her short life last week (she's 19 months old).

Well, she's finally doing better but now I freakin' have it.

You know how painful a cancre sore can be? I have about 15 of them in my mouth right now with half of them being on my tongue. 1000mg of advil is not helping!!

Tell me about it. She never got any on her hands or feet thankfully, but I have 3 on my hands and two on the bottom of my left foot. Those feel like mosquito bites compared to the ones in my mouth.

I stayed home from work most of last week to take care of her because once my co-workers found out she had it they asked me to stay home! (I work at the CDC).

Looks like I'll be home for a few days next week too.
 
Anyone know the standard dosage of Tylenol w/ codeine for an adult? My daughter was prescribed some for her pain, but her dosage was only 2 cc's.

I believe that the standard dosage for an adult is like 2 Quarts.... That should eleviate your pain....
