Just saw the Tom's case review on P190, that thing is just too sweet. esp. love the 2x panel design for near silent computer op. And that magnetic front door is the coolest I've seen! It's even got an 200mm fan!! 200!! Even got 2xPSUs to power stuff, that's just crazy. Even got a LED work light inside the case, you can even route cables thru the back of mb tray, it's got more new tricks in this case than you can count them. It's just the coolest thing. But the only thing I think is unnecessary is the included 2x PSU, I mean for anyone getting this case, surely, they would get better PSU than the preinstalled Antec stuff.

lol someones a little too excited. In all honesty the "dual PSU" feature is a total gimick. No one needs that much power. This case is like an overpriced console combo imo. Ya it has a few features that are slightly better then the p182, but most of those features you mention are in the p182, and that can be had for only $50!

yea it is a pretty decently designed case, but omg dont suck it off like that.

1. i agree, dual psu's is retarded, twice the heat, twice the noise, twice the chances of psu failure.
2. ok so what if it has a 200mm fan...? if it breaks what are you going to replace it with? not many reputable fan companies sell nice 200mm fans. i'd stick with 120mm delta's or panaflo's.
3. a lot of case's allow cables to be routed behind the mb.. like my Lian Li case.
4. theres much better case's for the money.

The price was 50 AR, it was the FRYs/compusa deal that seems to pop up every few months. Technically I have a p180, but it has all of the revisions the p182 has minus the color; water cooling holes, space behind the motherboard, hardrive silencers, vibration dampening, built in fan speed controller, etc.

True, true, all very true, I did get a bit carried away when I first saw this case, but heck I can't blame myself it's just a awesome case. I mean the 2xPSU is useful if you got a ton of stuff in the future, some people got like a ton of peripherals, saw a guy with 5 HDs etc. So putting them on separate PS isn't a fruitless exercise. But anyhow that's of course personal taste. But I did see 200mm fans on specialty stores nowadays. It's just super quiet that's all.

If 182s are indeed going for 50AR, I'd say that'd be the most case/money you can get deal on casing.

Also what are other cases that's much better for the money? name a few please. so I can check them out as well.

The P-190 has two major flaws IMO. It has two psu which is not needed and I personally wouldnt use that brand of power supply to begin with. The other major flaw is the price. Way too expensive. I like everything else about it though.

Word to the wise...

I thought about putting the HDs and mobo on seperate PSUs, but I asked Mountain Mods about this, and they said don't do it! They said customers have lost data running HDs on a different PSU than the mobo!!!

MM said to use the same PSU for the mobo and HDs - on everything else, do whatever you want... ;)

I saw this case at Fry's today and it is HUGE. Awesome looking case, but pricey as well.

Do you ever have anything positive to say LOUIS? :p

as for 1) Redundant powersupplies for reliability (there's an adapter somewhere)
2) Antec sells the 200mm fan replacement on their site for like $8
3) Yeah, you've got it there.
4) I like the TJ07 better and I thought the Silverstone was expensive....

Aren't the PSUs it comes with better than their old smartpower/truepower 1 and 2 lines? I thought they were either neoHE or trios (not looking it up since my internet is slow and I'm being lazy :p)

I agree. Thats what they need to do. Drop those power supply units and pass the savings onto the buyer and let the buyer get what he/she wants for the case instead.

It is a full tower case so only those with a need for lots of hd units will want it. Thats its market its aimed at.
