I'm I Crazy!?!?!

I just drove over to FrozenCPU.com and bought a Cooler Master Wave Master with the window, for a system I'm putting together. Its a great case, but FOR $230 W/O A PS!?!?!

Wow and to think in a year or so we will be switching the kind of case we are using (is it in a year or so? I remember readin an AT article)...for 230 I'd expect a REALLY nice case to come with a PSU and it'd have to be REALLY special for me to justify the price. Like I noe people who have spent a lot of omney on a ATX case in 1998 and still have it
but I' the kind that prefer ~60 dollar cases and just get a new one for each pc 😉

Yes you are crazy, but if you have $$$ like that enjoy. I bought a Window kit, some lights, and did my own. Then I had a buddy paint it multi yellow (it changes with diffrent angles) with clear coat. Then while on a bussiness trip my brother air brushed a naked fat lady on the side and front as a joke (HA,HA you will have to come over sometime 🙂. So know I hide it from view, or the wifey will hurt me.

You'd think people spend more time staring at there cases with all the modifications they make at them. To me, it just shows how little use you have got out of your PC 😀

I bought an Antec SLK3700-BQE
It's reviewed here at THG.
I bought it at NewEgg
It's based on the Sonanta series.
At $77 I think it's the best case for the money available.
I did add a window to it for $12 that I installed.

My case

What I like about this case is drive placement, two 120mm fan placements, the width and the lack of noise as this is a solidly built case.
It doesn't have the sleek look of the case you bought, but it does have a better feature set.

Well I started building my system last night, and I must say, this case is really really nice. Granted, I've been using an old heavy steel supermicro server tower for the last 7 years.

Things I like: Sounds minor, but I love the MB tray(never had one). Very well built. Looks great!! No sharpe edges. USB ports, mic, earphone jacks, and 1394 on top, that can be removed in favor of a top exhaust fan. AL is nice. Blus LED lights in front(no biggie at all, but looks cool). Lots 'o thumb screws.

Things I don't like: The $45 side panel with window(great! I have an extra side panel 😉). Price.

My mistake was going directly to frozencpu.com and seeing some sweet cases they had set up. I've never been a case mod guy, but I was sucked in.
