Puff can work incredible, but sometimes it still doesn't help. and if that's the case usually you're hosed because nothing else will be better.

Otherwise I've never found anything to significantly help a hangover. Sure I'll drink water or gatorade, take a few tylenol, and eat something if I can put it down, but generally still won't be feeling better until late that day.

Burrito + blue Gatorade
or
pretzels + ginger ale
or
beer + hamburger

I've tried all of those methods after various nights of drinking. IMO, the burrito + blue Gatorade one is the absolute best.

greasy food, either a good burger (not McD's) or some greasy asian noodles like Pad See Ew or chow phun, and a cold can of coke. Then go back to sleep for the rest of the day. The best way to avoid feeling shitty due to hangover (aside from not drinking so much) is to not be conscious for the duration of it.

When you wake up more greasy food, and keep drinking lots of water and gatorade (keep drinks next to bed so you can drink every couple hours when you wake up).

Is that why you were such a jackass in your Fallout thread? Drunk?

Anyway, I rarely get hangovers, but when I do I have Gatorade, lots of water, Advil, something starchy/greasy/full of protein, and a long hot showers.

coke. caffeine helps the headache, and it seems to help the nausea as well. the syrup used to be sold at pharmacies for that purpose, not sure if that has persisted through the years but it definitely helps me.

also, a couple advil and pepto

pickle juice, asprin, a shot of vodka, and an espresso usually fixes it up.

I am a fan of the 2 eggs with bacon homefries and whole wheat toast. That and a lot of water. Drinking a lot of water is probably the best thing for you. Oh, and put on a movie and crash on the couch.

1/2 part Vodka, 1/2 part Everclear, in a 12oz glass. You won't feel a thing after that.

Only thing that helps a hangover is going back in time and not drinking to begin with. I finally got tired of hangovers last year and stopped drinking completely. Honestly, it's not that big a deal to quit and I wake up feeling great now all the time. More people should try it, but the idea to some that they wouldn't drink just seems foreign and strange, so they continue to live with the hangovers and various other negativities of the bottle.

Will you still have a beer with a steak dinner, or you just outright quit drinking?

I drink maybe once every six weeks, so it's not that big of a deal. But hangovers are still shit.

I agree with this. My friends still haven't caught on that I don't really drink anymore. I still get dragged out every once in a while buy try to just have two or three drinks when that happens. It's just better to avoid drinking altogether ? quality of life goes way up, weekends are way more productive. Overall health is better too. Anyone who doesn't realize this by the time they are 25 is lagging behind in life.

This is like my 4th or 5th time posting about this. I guess I'm still amazed at how much life improves when you cut down on the binge drinking.
