Hey, Bastula, don't take it to heart. Your parents must still love you and thats what matters more, not that they are making you study on your birthday. Sure, you should be having fun, but if you have something to do for school tomorrow, just do it, you will have to make sacrifices in life from time to time for things like this.

I want to make sure you udnerstand I'm not saying for everyone to study on their birthday, but if you have a test tomorrow, study for it tonight and enjoy the weekend. :)

Edit: I'm Indian too with parents from Indian origionally if it matters so I can understand your situation.

You all complain way too much. I spent my 21st birthday at Paris Island, right in the middle of boot camp. All I wanted was for noone to know it was my birthday, but one of my fraternity brothers who was also a Marine decided to play a joke on me and send me a b-day card with a bright yellow envelope and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! written all over it

You can imagine the "presents" the drill instructors gave me for my birthday (I didn't think the human body could be in that much pain). Oh and to make it fair with the other recruits, I wasn't the only one in pain, so was the rest of the platoon. My fellow recruits were not happy with me that night.

But then when I came home, I find to see that my parents are making me study, like they completely forgot that it was my birthday, even though they wished me. Now we arent going anywhere for dinner, and im sad/angry.

what can I do? I had to argue to get on the computer, and even do anything else...

You're 15. Trust me, they will get better. That said, happy birthday.

Wait, nevermind...you're not 21 yet. Happy Birthday, though.

Haha, reminds me of my 17th Birthday... This years won't be much better (18th), I'm expecting Exams and Work as well.

I had to wake up at 5:45am to get ready for school, take my mid term exams, then I got home from school at 2 or whatever, changed clothes, then had to go to work for 6 hours. Got home and fell asleep.

EDIT: Oh, Happy Birthday.

Also, that's not a bad birthday. Freshman year in high school, only one friend remembered my birthday (parent's never even remembered). Last year (junior year) I was spending the day in the hospital, tore ligaments and tendons in ankle (going for surgery On December 19th for that).

You're not a kid anymore. Enjoy. The presents will keep drying up with one final bit when you graduate.
