I'm gonna spend $13 on lunch... what to eat?

Get a LARGE bowl of Pho with everything and extra meatballs ($6.5) , then one order of springrolls (4 for $4), a drink ($1), and leave the rest for tip ($1.5).

Darn, wish I live near a good Pho restaurant, the closest is 3 hrs away.

Carabba's > Olive Garden

Carabba's is owned by Outback Steakhouse and sucks just as bad as its parent. Both are Sysco supplied crappy chainstore food, the stuff you get from there is basically Stouffers microwaveable meals in a bag. It's the McDonald's of Italian food, and Olive Garden is the Jack in the Box.

So, comparing Olive Garden to Jack in the Box isn't a compliment, right?

(I have no JitB's in my area, so I don't know.)

my favorite heart attack enducing lunch...

12" buffalo chicken sub, w/ double meat, mayo, and tomatos 🙂

Hmm, that sounds good. Wawa?

I'm beyond the reach of Wawa 😛 but QuickCheck may as well be the North East version of Wawa, both of which are just mirrors of 7/11 😉

you should buy nothing to eat for lunch and deposit that $13 in a roth IRA.

or go to Chipotle and get a burrito + chips

Wow $13 for lunch. Last time I spent $13 for lunch, I got a giant platter of fish and chips, deep fried pickels (frickels) and 2 pints of the brewery's IPA.

After reading the OP thread, I went out today and had Pho and even ordered broken rice takeout.

Damn you LOLyourface for making me spend $23 today!! :| 😛

Can anything top that? I think so... $13 can go a long away... I'm not creative with my optinos now...

(This is the bottom line budget WITH THE TIPS)
