I was entertained.

That guy reminds me of a cross between Bud Bundy and Seth Green, only taller..

Not quite the same caliber as Gangham Style, but absolutely rates an "A." Lyrics are great and the brutal honesty about today's American society is right on the money.

It was fun at first.

I can't remember the last time I made it through a commute without hearing it.

i thought dubstep killed rap? ive been waiting about two decades for something to kill rap... its still here...

i watched the whole video. it got a lot better at the end when that big black dude took it over. the main white guy is fairly amatuer. reminds me of jroc.

probably only 10 rap songs in history i have ever liked though. half of them are from marshal m. and at least one from snoop... this song is nowhere near any of that though. it does seem in line with the continuing decline of pop music overall though...

EDM in general killed rap

But from the ashes of rap came trap music (rap with out the rapping)

Now EDM (dubstep, drum and bass, etc) and trap are equal right now.

I don't really like rap that much, but enjoyed this song. The hook by wanz is probably a big part of it, guy has a neat story as well.

I looked at macklemores other songs, got to admit I'm impressed. Pretty well written, not overly vulgar, and pushing some good messages. Thrift shop is really quite different from his other work as its catchy, upbeat, and suppose to be amusing while his others are much more down to earth.

Never really heard of him before this but he's got quite a following that they've worked quite hard for. Turns out he's like the first artist not signed to a major label to hit billboard #1 in around 20-30 years. Which I find odd that the Atlanta and Athens stations aren't playing it yet.
