My dad says he's done with it and I can come get it whenever I want. New vehicles are fun, even when they're 30 years old 🙂

Hardly. A '74 F150 is all about utility. You can load it with trash, cement, lumber, whatever, without worry about getting it dirty or scratching it. It's not an overgrown station wagon, like your typical SUV.
