I'm gonna go against the grain a bit here....USPS blows!

That's right, UPS is better than USPS! 🙂 To date, I've had two incidents with USPS f'ing up on items valued at >$75 and I've never had a problem with UPS, shipping thousands of dollars worth of merchandise through them.

USPS managed to loose a letter containing a MO for over a month going from CA --> WA (it arrived the day that I placed a MO trace on it).
USPS managed to send a priority mail package from WA --> CA in 13 days and I ended up with a dead laptop hard drive and a cracked & broken laptop chassis.


USPS booooooooooooooooooo, boooooooooooooo!

Oh yeah, and all my local UPS (counter & delivery) employees are nice & cool, whereas my USPS delivery lady is one of the least friendly people ever!

If it's against the grain........consider me a rebel.

I don't think that the USPS being just another government run beaurocracy with monopoly protection is a "ground-breaking relelation".

Against the grain in the sense that whenever someone posts a negative shipping co. thread, it's always about how UPS sucks and USPS is God's gift to people who ship stuff...

I work at Staples which has a UPS shipping center - we get so many people filing insurance claims that have shipped stuff from our store - and I've gotten bitched at so many times - not to mention I used to work for UPS and know how they treat packages - that I'll go with the grain here and say UPS sucks. Hard.

i havent really had any bad experiences with USPS, i actually think they are pretty good...
