if the massage parlors have open windows, don't count on a happy ending....if they're underground or have no windows.... you might get lucky

Do a search in the forums. The "what to do in Vegas" question has been discussed here a hundred times previously.

The Steakhouse in circus circus is pretty damned good

those casinos are much farther apart than they look (in case youre considering hoofing it around)

for comped drinks i prefer hennesey because it has a distinct flavor so you can tell if its been watered down or downgraded

always double down 11 if a 5's showing

those dudes that handout hooker cards wont even bother you if you act like they arent there (dont even acknowledge them if they put a card inches from your hands)

I'm staying at circus circus and had heard the steak house is good so I'll be sure to check it out, thank you 🙂

When is CES? I'm going Jan 11-15th. I went in the summer last time. In terms of clubs, food I can help you out.

Bellagio and Wynn have the best buffets. Rio is a mid level buffet, but very good for its price. Between Bellagio and Wynn, I'd pick Bellagio. Go before 5pm. Get in line BY 4:30 at the latest. I paid at like 4:55 last time and it was a weekend lunch price. What was it like $27.99 or something? Or $21.99? I forget, but it was dirt cheap compared to the dinner price. By the time I got seated, walked up to get my food, they rolled out the Kobe sirloin and all the dinner stuff. Yum yum.

If you show up at 6pm like an idiot, be prepared to wait 2 hours. It's what I did at Wynn. Never again.

In terms of clubs, the best clubs to me are:
Thurs: Surrender. Fri: XS, Sat: Tao, Sun: XS. These are the megaclubs.

Throw in Rio's Voodoo Lounge if you like a more mellow entertainment on the 51st floor.

People always love showing up late to clubs, but if you show up to the megaclubs by 9:45 or so, you can easily get in for free, provided that you have a 1:1 ratio at least of guys to girls. People who need to buy off the doorman, foolish. I didn't pay a dime to get into any club last time with 3 guys, 3 girls. The best way to get in is to find a promoter and text them. There's a list of them at some sites, or you can ask me for a few #s. Just text and they're more than happy to give you free tickets.

Foodwise, the steakhouse at Venetian or Palms is very nice. Lawry's is still good as always.

I like cheapovegas.com's reviews about hotels and gambling. If you want to gamble but are a cheapskate, head up to downtown. And if you're too cheap for downtown, theres a place I go out to way out on Boulder Hwy that has $1 craps (Jokers Wild). It only runs 12p-12a and sometimes you have to fight your way in to get a spot on the rail, but I can go all night on a buy in of $40 and usually walk away up if not doubled or more. I'll play $3 downtown or on occasion $5 on the strip, but Im too cheap to pay $10+ at the big places for lousy odds.

be weary of the omertas ann white gloves society
tops is great
gl getting into the lucky 38
be on yer best behavior on the strip.securitrons are now mk. 2

Skip CES and go to the AVN Expo. :awe:

Also this

Although that may have a diminished probability of paying off due to the fact that both CES and AVN are in Vegas that weekend.

Pffft, Bellagio buffet, if you don't mind the price.
Agreed.

Prices aren't too bad imo.. about $20-25 for lunch and $35 for dinner (depending on the days I believe). This is probably the best buffet in town... the Wynn has a comparable/better one, but it also costs more (about $35/$50 for lunch/dinner respectively I think).

Did absolutely no one check the link I posted? You're fucking absolutely retarded to go to any buffet in Vegas when Harrah's is offering that. The Paris buffet is rather f'n awesome as are the others. 40 dollars to eat all you want all day from 7 different buffets? Only a moron would pay 35 to go eat ONCE at the Belagio when the food isn't that much better.

Jean - head to the south end of the strip and bring your electronics shopping list.

FRYs

Take time to go across the street to the Stratosphere tower - supper at the top generates an unique experience. The restaurant at the Paris is also an experience, but not as nice.

As another stated, do not plan on hoofing around to much. Most casinos on the strip past Harrahs are 5-10 minutes off of the street to walk into the entrance.

If Mike is going with you, the two of you might enjoy the gondolas at the Venetian.

Helo ride over the Boulder Dam/Lake Meade.

There are a couple of decent outlet malls - PM me if interested.

Also, bring plenty of change - keeps my state income tax rate on the business low()🙂

Remember where I was living when the Mods corrupted me

If you can put up with the appalling food, Hooters is a really cheap place to stay if your'e looking for a bargain.

Hooters has a good deal I think after 10pm for a prime rib dinner, it's like 12 bucks I think, fucking DELICIOUS and the best corn bread I have ever had. They also have dollar budlight 24/7 I believe.

It's not much of a deal if you can only handle a buffet once or twice in a day, which would probably be most people.
