Also, I was reading in the Alligator about a letter sent in for response to an article on homeless people. It was written by a 'homeless' substitute teacher... WTF?! I wouldn't want my kids exposed to some women who can't even figure out how to get a home for herself.
Homeless people frustrate me.. It seems they're always conveniently disabled. They always sit in the busiest areas. They're never doing anything productive. It is hard for me to have compassion for them... Yet, every time I see one, it is hard for me not to give them a buck. Then, I think about how I probby have more debt than they do. Screw them.
Which Kash 'n Karry? There's almost always a guy by Millhopper Publix..he rides a full sized tricycle thing around..usually sits on a bench and smokes cigarette butts. I haven't noticed him asking for money yet, but he did ask me for a cigarette once..I don't smoke, though..
I Think he's talking about the one on 13th st. I've seen a lady on that road, next to rhodes furnature one day, and at the walmart intersection a few days after.
Downtown there is this one guy i've met like at least 4 times ofter the last 5 years. And he always has this sad story about him being in Vietnam.
