There's a guy on a street corner on my way to work, & he's been begging the same corner every weekday morning for 1.5 years. He's well dressed (clean jeans/shirt/shoes) & holds up a sign that says "Dear God is there no help for the homeless?"

I'm sure he's not homeless, and from what I've heard, these guys make ~$40,000 a year in DFW area.

I'm going to stalk him on Monday from the McDonald's parking lot & see what kind of car he gets into after he's done begging.....

20X camcorder & 8X zoom digicam are already charging.....

(I'm well aware I have no life, but this guy's been attempting to beg from me for nearly 2 years, I'm just curious.)
 
a newspaper did that with the "old shaking lady" in toronto. turns out shes wealthy, not disabled, doesnt really shake and none of her family knew she did it.
 
Sounds interesting, if you don't post back on Tuesday, we'll know the homeless guy saw you and killed you for trying to reveal his secret 😛

I have seen exposees (sp) on some of these guys. In one a lawyer in AZ decided to try it and found that he could make as much as $500/day panhandling. There's big bucks in it folks.

We got one of those here in Boston, too. On the BU campus, always sitting in front of the bookstore.... he's there everyday, rides his bike in, sits all day, rides his bike out.

Never smells, always has a change of clothes. Begging is seriously his job....

....lucky bastard.

Unfortunately, my work hours are a little less flexible than his, Monday is my first week day off that I can devote to my stalking...

Taking a Level 3 Excel class on Tuesday...
