be a professional, give two weeks or you can say goodbye to the last 2 years of your life.

I thought about all that, and trust me, this is not the place where I put anyone down as a reference.

so you plan on lying instead? or just denying all questions about your employment status for the past 2 years?

Exactly. Just give the two weeks notice and save yourself the aggravation.

Don't see why am going to lie...I will say where I worked. Not like i'm going to hide it. But putting up with 2 more weeks would be a severe punishment.

they might look up your previous employer and ask questions about you. walking out of a job without giving notice is not a good thing for your resume.

I can see how this would be a problem, especially if everyone hates each other and it's a small company. When I quit my last job and put in my two weeks, my boss made my life such a living hell that I told him to stuff it after only two DAYS post-notice. Sometimes it's just not worth it.

I'm in the same boat as you, almost at the 2 year mark, and things are going to sh!t at my office. I've pretty much taken myself out of any critical duties here because I just don't care. I am just itching for one of my many job applications to be answered and I'm outta here.
