I'm going to drop acid tonight

On my driveway. I have to clean up some portland cement and crustified sand runoff from a project I did this weekend.

I've got a full gallon of muratic acid in garage...and I know how to use it!

that stuff is wicked.... we use it to clean the lower units on our boats.... imo, get yourself a gasmask of somesort.

Yep. It also works well to clean up excess cement off of driveways and brick/blockwork. Mix it about 10:1 - water:acid and it's eats the stuff off very nicely with a steel wire brush.

I hope you have some elbow-length rubber gloves! I learned the hard way about this while using some CLR (I think that's what it's called) to clean my bowl/sink/tub and burned the crap out of my hands b/c I didn't have gloves on.

Rubber golves - CHECK
Goggles - CHECK
over the nose and mouth mask - CHECK
Baking soda on hand as a counter agent - CHECK

I've used this stuff many times before

I used to do that with a friend of mine. It gets old real quick.
