Weak rant, I'm by no means a mac zealot but I do own one and they have their perks and their downfall like any other system. My wife uses it exclusively at home and couldnt be happier, its easy for her to organize her photos and print them. She also does the website for our baby. None of this would be possible for her on a windows or linux platform. Macs are a computer for the person who doesnt want to use a computer. Its pretty much a tool to them, they dont care how it works, they just want to do what they want to do.

Not true, I'll consider Windows when they get rid of their crappy NT kernel and use a new file system. That'll probably be in 7 years.

What's wrong with the NT kernel? The OS's that use it are very stable and reliable as long as you secure them properly. Even with the virus and spyware issues, they're still a hell of a lot better than DOS based OS's that came before it!

Besides, I wasted most of day trying to fix a screwed up bootloader for a SuSE install that self-destructed after I installed the latest kernel upgrade. After that, even Windows looks good in comparison :)
