Do you care if Muslims in other parts of the world step up terrorist attacks on Americans as a result of some dumbfuck in Florida "exercising his right?"
Those Muslims should feel free to burn Bibles in retaliation.

:D

The correct question should be "should we change our rights because we are afraid of what some dubfucks around the world do in response to them?"

Sure I do. But I don't blame the guy doing the book burning, I blame terrorists that are willing to kill for such a thing.

I'm not advocating changing our rights. I'm advocating common sense...apparently some so-called christians in this country don't have any though.

Terrorists will be terrorists. The people we should be worried about offending is the Muslims that put their lives on the line to aid the US troops. But the Afghan War was never about fighting Islam as a whole, but rather its more radical members.

So you are saying we should outlaw... burning the flag because it might make some diehard American extremists upset enough to say... burn the person in effigy. This could have the unfortunate effect of causing African Americans to make some racist statements, which could then set off the local chapter of the KKK. The KKK march could get a bit unruly and police may be needed. Then some completely unrelated bystander decides to throw a rock at the cops, just because he hates them since he got a ticket for speeding. The cops then deploy tear gas and a full scale riot ensues. Some little kid gets trampled to death.

WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!

Burn all the books you want but mark my words, YOU WILL PAY.

Once the global warming radicals calculate the amount of carbon you'all just puked out on the 11th, it will be a new world of terrorism.

IIRC from my catholic upbringing, burning a bible is the proper way to dispose of one. Throwing it in the garbage is considered sacrilegious. I could be wrong, this was 15 years ago.

Burning the bible doesn't earn you a death sentence from the entire Christian population...

Pansy...

These animals do not need a reason or excuse to kill, they will do it anyway. Having said that I think the preacher in FL is ridiculous and certainly not acting like a Christian should

Maybe it should! What kind of religion allows people to burn holy items with no retribution? Certainly not a religion I could take seriously anyway. :awe:

Burning a flag is considerd the proper way to dispose of an old/worn one too. You're just supposed to do it in a "respectful" way.
