Not really but apparently that is what people are advertising about the A+. I'm going to take it so I can transfer into WGU's networking/security program.

Reminds me about a thread about Facebook pictures...involving someone's picture being used

I never got my A+ certification.

Apparently its the easiest way to get into WGU. I'm sure I could pass the first part right now today. The second test is the one that I'm not 100% sure on. I found this book (brand new) on Amazon for $15 shipped. Figured it was a decent investment since all the others were a ton more expensive.

I don't think I listed A+ or MCSE on my CV any more, and the MCSE was legit, none of that boot camp paper bs.

I am over half way through a Networking and Software program now. I sit for the A+ and Net+ at the end.

Mike Myers has some really good YT videos with simple explanations.

Good luck. I got my BSIT from WGU in 2011. I finished in just over 2 years. It's a good school. I ended up with I believe 9 certifications when it was all over and that same year went from an end user support job at a fortune 200 company to systems administrator at another company, with a 62% pay raise. not bad if I do say so myself. :)
