any advice? i cleaned up the car but still haven't put a fresh scent in it yet. should lysol do the trick?

These things have nothing to do with driving. I suggest you worry more about actually controlling the vehicle and less about how pretty it smells.

yeap worry about haveing the car up to date.
the test itself is not hard. just study the book and its good to go.
