my parents wanna take me to san francisco tomorrow. are there any good computer stores...computer mod stores or hardware stores around there worht looking at?

Some friends and I are going into the city tomorrow to, just to kick around. Not a computer store but check out Sharper Image in Ghiradelli Square if you want to look at some gadgets. I never found it too fascinating but you might. Have fun!

There is Compusa on Market Street.
However, in general there are more good computer stores in the South Bay area than that in SF.

lol, i might head over to gliroy instead to pick up some t-macs. reason why im asking for computer stores is because here in san jose, we dont got none of that dealer stuff. all just frys, best buys etc...and sharper image, theres one in the great mall.

Actually, LongCoolMother, San Jose does have computer outlet stores. You just don't know where to look

You can go up to Fremont, and check out atacom.com, they are pretty competitive on pricewatch.
