Thanks for all the congratulations, guys!
I guess I'll write up a response to specific comments / questions in word and paste it in once the forums are back up.

I'm sorry about demystifying the forum experience for you. I hope you don't find the ATOT forum member gallery. Yes, she has a healthy rack.
There's even one more picture that she let me put up for a previous thread.
Out of focus person in 5th picture - That was a new year's eve party at her friend's house... so... one of her friends!

No, Harold the dog doesn't look to impressed in that picture. He's a good guy though. He's taken care of her for 8 years and we seem to get along pretty well too. I take Harold on walks and find 4-leaf (and 5-leaf) clovers with him.

The ring is a 1.32 carat sapphire in a platinum band. It's back at the local jeweler getting a wedding band matched to follow the curvature of the main band.

I made them unlisted as part of the OkCupid thing... figured they were too far on the embarrassing side.

At the zoo I worked as part of the gardening crew for a summer job several summers (planting flowers, cutting down trees, watering flower beds, feeding animals from certain trees I cut down, etc.)
5 years ago, HomeBrewerDude got in contact with me after he found out I was in Madison. He hired me as a student hourly employee as I was just starting my Elementary Education degree (I started out in computer/electrical engineering and ended up graduating a couple years ago with an Elementary Education degree with a minor in Physics). I didn't end up with a teaching job, but HomeBrewerDude hired me for a full time position after I graduated. So... no formal econometric training or degree, but those are the kind of concepts I'm explaining out in the field. I think when it comes to relating to teachers and explaining concepts that it helps to have my particular background.

I suppose L&R would be another place for it, but I saw it more as a happy announcement I wanted to give to ATOT, since I know a lot of people in this section.

Yeah, I had a great experience with OkCupid. Since then, I've recommended it to a few other people. In fact, a co-worker of mine (who will be doing the catering at the wedding) met a great guy after I told her to sign up for it too.

Nope, no Ogame account, but I did explain it to her and told her to keep an eye on me to make sure I never get obsessed with a huge time sink like that again.
She has played a few computer games in her time though (Neverwinter Nights, Age of Empires, etc.)

We're closing on a house in less than a week. One of the projects will be taking half of the unfinished basement area and making a modest movie room out of it. I'm not looking forward to moving all the stuff though.
Oh, and yes, Harold is very protective of her.
SSSnail
I think we'll try for kids of our own first.

I don't think my sister's looking to settle down quite yet.
DrPizza
Baby names aren't quite on the radar yet. I have a feeling she won't be up for "minipizza" though, sorry.
Gray hair comments:
Yep, I have it. I'm 27. It started a few years ago.

bachelor party is being planned by a few co-workers I think. Last I heard it might be paintball (I've never tried it before).
Exoterous
ATOT bachelor party sounds scary.

Yes, the new house will be in Madison. Plan to stay here for a long time... we've both been living here since 2002.

Engineering challenges lost some appeal when nobody else was participating. It was very fun when it was going on though. I've been pretty consumed with work, wedding planning, and house purchasing lately, so free time is in short supply. I have a feeling that's not going to change any time soon.

I didn't mean to imply this was my first attempt to date. My first long term relationship lasted 4.5 years, 3.5 for the next one, and this is the third one. The other ones never felt like this.
