In prison term, Snitching. They'll love you.

uh no. snitching or a rat is participating in a crime, getting caught and turning in your co-conspirators. Dr. Pizza is simply a witness to a crime. if you witnessed a child being abducted or a women being attacked and reported it by no means are you a "snitch". You're the moron who's planning a felony on a public forum. one day you may need to obtain a security clearance for a job, good luck with that now. why don't you use your savings for your little vacation and not leach off the government. this is part of the reason our nation is going broke.

I'm trying to figure out what the downside would be to having a program whereby citizens can turn in people committing welfare fraud, unemployment fraud, food stamps fraud, insurance fraud, disability fraud, etc. i.e. suppose someone was set up to receive 20,000 over the next year; the investigation cost $2000, court costs are another $4000 to prosecute them... the citizen should get 10% of the remainder as a reward. I'm sure the final numbers would have to be juggled a little bit, but seems like a great way to start limiting the cases of fraud. Once people realize that their neighbor, former coworker, acquaintance, hell, even a family member can turn them in for fraud, just so they can get a reward, then people would be less apt to try.

who is going to investigate all this? With what resources? How and what will they be paid?
