Yea, you guys killed the bird by adding yogurt and Pedialyte. If you spent three hours learning about proper feeding, why the fuck would you deviant from what you learned for the first feeding? I feel bad for the bird; that it was murdered by you and your roommate.

Because my SO works at a petstore where he looks after birds, babies and adults. His boss puts pedialyte and yogurt in the formula to aid the babies digestion.
He talked to the breeder and he said the baby probably died because of the temp change from his house to our house. The babies need certain amount of heat to properly digest the food. But he also said it's completely possible the bird spit up like babies do, and could not clear it from his throat.
