Umm...it's annoying, yes, but if you're that angry over it, you may want to look into anger management. Yes, she was rude, but does that one incident warrant such anger?
Are we getting the whole story? Has she done things like this before? What time was it when you supposedly kept here awake? Did you have music playing?
That being said, if you're that easy to fly into a rage and that vindictive, I'd be worried to be your neighbor. :Q
I would just continue to sit in my driveway and talk to friends at all hours of the day and night. She can?t call the police about a car idling, they would just laugh at her. Any thing she complains about keep doing.

Lets see.
She: Whats with these people and letting thier loud ass cars in the middle of night run on and on while im trying to get some sleep for I have a bid day tomorrow and this ass hat is just sitting outside my house for over 5 minutes and doesnt have the decency to understand its night time so all normal noises of the day is amplified 200X so even the quietest exhaust can be hear like it is through a mega phone and reverberated off all negihboring house.
You: ****** them people and if it is late, Im not shutting off my car while I talk here and if they dont like fvcking bad. Im a bad ass and Im gonna sit and hide in my car and smoke a ciggerette which Im ntot supposed to do for Im a bad ass. And HOW DARE this kind come to my car and bitch that I been out here not only being loud to her but to everyone else that didnt own a big enough set of balls to come out with her to tell you to scram your sh!ts loud right now and Im trying to sleep.
Think about it and how you would feel that if you were trying to sleep and someone was using a jack hammer out your window while you were trying to sleep. How you would feel if they didnt have the courtsy to do it at a different time? You would proll do the same and then you would be "like her kind" wouldnt you.
And whats really with her kind? Your being an ass in the middle of the night out peoples homes letting your car run when you could of easily shut it off and unlike the others trying to sleep and just got pissed and did nothing she had the balls to come to you and say
"shut the damn thing off or move on Im trying to get some sleep!"
I like that kind for its what I would of done.

This lady has a huge history in the neighborhood, which is otherwise quite tight. She has called the police on us, both neighbors on either side, and the older lady down the street, all for BS things. I've just gotten really pissed off at her lately.
I realize I should have clarified things a bit. Honestly, the thread wasn't worth posting. Ah well, the things we do under the influence.
For the record, I feel much more sane this morning.
