I really don't remember any complaining about my punishment for doing what I've done. But I don't deserve the $22 grand any more than the next guy, as long as the next guy deserves it as well. The grants are based on my academic and extra curricular activities, and my choises as classes and whether or not I would be living on campus. Not what I've chosen to do on my spare time.

Be it you think my choises are lame, at least I can look back on my childhood and say I had a blast, what about yourself?

WhoYoDaddy is right though, I only live once, I'll never be 18, 17, or 16 again. And while I'm still in my youthful college-going ages, I'm going to use them and make sure I can drain the life from what this planet has given me. If I mess up along the way or make some bad choices, that's what I have done and I will receive what's coming to me given time.

Everyone makes mistakes, much like learning how to work on your car. Everything you do, you make mistakes. You start to rebuild your engine but forget to install the piston rings. You notice blow-by from the dip-stick holster out the wazoo. You just learned the hard way that you have to remember to install the piston rings. Perhaps you tighten the heads down with a normal wrench, and some miles on the odometer pass and in a short time you may end up having a blown head because of it. You just learned the hard way that you need the torque wrench and make sure the bolts are fastened at their correct weights.

And besides, many people look at College as the time where the real fun begins anyhow

Heh, I dont remember and I'm too lazy to check if I wrote it, but I was able to shower all by myself. I requested it that way. I brought my old spice soap kept in a old spice soap shaped container, pert-plus shampoo, and some face wash...which they wouldn't let me have because of the spring inside of the face wash container...and my good razor...I think I already discusses this... Sounds like the OP was just being a typical 19 year old. Big deal. 'Sides, it's his life to screw up if he so wishes.

I've spent some time in jail, once in high school for ditching school and littering and the cops couldn't get hold of my mom (before there were cell phones), once in Mexico for climbing the fence at Border Park from the wrong side, and once for a month for unpaid traffic tickets Q). Jail (not prison) is ok as long as you can keep from attracting attention. The last time I got into 1 fight and left alone after that. Which was fine by me.

Strange thing, though, is that I crapped exactly once in that month! Seeing that row of toilets with a row of criminals sitting six inches from where you'd be sitting was enough to tie my intestines in a knot. :disgust:
