Nope, she's not going to leave me... I would love to get married to her as well, but we can't do it "properly" until I graduate and get some money for a place to live.

If she can't for any reason then send her packing.

Well then, why are you worried about it? Get your priorities straight and finish school. That way you can hopefully get a good paying job, so 16k won't seem like much at all.
