That IS typical, but why do people need to thread crap, espeically in a post like this? it makes me sad. 🙁

Because, hopefully, its a reminder to the lucky guy that marriages do fail. And as such, while you need to be 100% committed to your partner you shoudl also think about signing a prenup.
No, the topic isnt fun, but this is real life and people change and marriages fail.
I wish the guy all the best and hope his every dream is realized. That said, I hope hes level headed enough to admit that sh1t happens, marriages fail and as such goes into this arrangement with open eyes that someday, possibly, this woman he loves now could be trying to screw him for all hes worth. And I dont mean in a good way like what happens on the honeymoon.

anyway, i don't think anyone is blind to the fact that marriages fail, but threadcrapping in a happy thread is so uncool. let him be happy. i'm sure the OP has thought about whether he wants to spend the rest of his life with his woman and decided that yes, he will, and he will defy the odds. if you want to post about "omg you're gonna get divorced soon," do so in another thread. :|

I am aware that marriages fail... My mother and father divorced when I was 18. I happen to be an optimistic person and I do believe that I found the person I'm meant to be with. 🙂
