Im due for an update on my verizon wireless account, and I have been craving a smart phone/ blueberry / palm treo type of phone. I guess smart phone basically covers the whole of them.

anyways, Im also on a strict budget, can anyone recommend a verizon provided smart phone for under two hundred??

thanks,

Tyler

You can buy blueberrys at the grocery store for a lot less than $200.

if you can get a blackberry you cant go wrong. windows mobile phones are great because they do it all, but they suck because they never always work (you think your computer has problems? the phones are like the win95 days!!!! ) . I would probably look at palms if i were you... they say their os is outdated but i just used one for a day and i have to say its right up there with blackberries... i tried the palm centro and it seemed excellent.

If you have any BB questions just ask. I have all of them except the 8800, because that is lacking some key features for my liking.

If you're on a strict budget, drop Verizon and go to Sprint. Verizon totally kills you on data / BB plans.

Just pretty much what I was going to say. VZW wont let you have a BB without a data plan, and though you can activate any other smartphone without a data plan, you wont get promotional pricing unless you sign up for a data plan, which will add another $45/month to your bill. Sprint SERO is the best deal with data included, but that doesnt include blackberrys. You still have to get a BB plan even with SERO.
