I'm considering returning my PS3

I enjoy my 360 way more and I honestly can't think of more than two games I want for it right now(MGS4 and Motor Storm) and there is a very good chance MGS4 will show up on the 360. Bluray isn't a plus for me as I am more than happy with dvds. I think I could find better things to spend this money on. Not to mention more and more big games will be multiplatform this gen, all that added up and I am thinking the PS3 simply is not worth it to me.
 
Don;t worry you will not be the first or last to return their PS3.


And worse case really great games MIGHT come out for it by next year and the price will be lower.
 
And you feel the need to tell us why exactly? If thats what you want to do, do it.

I've returned plenty of things but I dont feel the need to post about it on Anandtech.

Frankly though what did you expect its a launch system with only a few good games, to say the 360 had better games at launch is wrong. Also is there any particular reason if you had a HDTV that you wouldnt use blu-ray? If you dont have a hdtv why would you buy one of these next-gen consoles?

Why are you replying, are you a Sony fanboy? I am not interested in HD-DVD either, as stated, DVDs look great to me.
 
Yeah, I really wouldn't see the point in having both an xbox360 and a PS3.

The graphics are comparable... and most titles will eventually be available for either platform. I bought a PS3, but if I already had an xbox360 I don't think I would have felt the need.

 
You are the one coming in talking about why did I post this blah blah blah and yet replied with a few questions. And what is there to be paranoid about anyway? Anyway the 360 is the superior machine imo. I don't know just yet, I will give it a few more days thought.

Go read the recent Carmack interview. He basically said that hte PS3 is to hard to program in and he has no interest in expending energy doing anything with it. He said development for the 360 is way easier. And he basically said that Sony really screwed up in this regard. If no one wants to program for it ... they will fail.

He also said that he will always prefer hte PC arena for games.

Why did you even buy it? Your reasons for returning it don't make any sense since you could of come to those same conclusions before even buying a PS3.
 
I could see why you want to return your PS3 if you already have a 360. I on the other hand, do not have a 360, so I got a PS3 with 25% off. The Wii got boring quickly after beating Zelda, so I sold it. The Wii is great for multiplayer though, but otherwise, not much appealing to me.
 
I don't understand people complaining about the lack of games at this point. The damn thing just came out. There aren't going to be any must have games (Resistance pwns though) right off the bat. The 360 was the same way when it launched. Don't worry, it will get better.

Uhh, beg to differ. Many great launch titles with 360.

Now gimme ratchet/clank and some SSX-ps3 style action. Nope, not there.
