Word. It was a soggy walk to the bus this morning. Looks like it's rain now.

We're heading to Seaside for the weekend, and it looks like there's a winter storm warning going over the coast range. Guess I'll bring the chains. :(

Going to SOLV? I wanted to but couldn't make it this year.

It's been a rough winter up in the coast range this year. Drive careful.

I was supposed to drive up to Qualicum from Victoria this morning, but the Malahat pass was all but closed due to snow, so I postponed the trip till next week.

It is very strange to see the cherry trees in full bloom and snow coming down. Hard to believe it is almost April.

We seriously got like four days of very light snowfall here in Philly. I'm envious :(

Dude, its Canada. We always assumed all you guys had snow from September through June. :p
I'm in Canada, and further south than some parts of Northern Cali ;)

What? Where are you in Canada? I seriously hope my sarcasm meter is broken real bad.

Nope no sarcasm, just a quirky little piece of geography trivia. This is a crappy map but illustrates it, albeit not accurately, but you get the point.

I live down in the southwest part of Ontario, where it looks like it's poking Michigan in the thumb. Actually, where I work - the US border is due north, so I'm looking north instead of south when I think of the immediate US :)

If you look at where that is and trace it over to the west coast, you can see that we're quite a but more south here than the Northern US states and even share the latitude of part of California.
