DDR2 is more commonly used now making the prices cheaper. DDR is being used less now that DDR2 is the new standard.

Seeing as most fabs are pumping out DDR2 chips in huge numbers, and most new PCs use DDR2, the supply is increasing in leaps and bounds, which brings the price down for us lucky buyers.

Well, yeah obviously the laws of supply and demand are in play for ddr2 but I find it doubtful that the demand is still high on ddr that prices haven't changed at all in 2 years

;) There are two variables in supply and demand skippy, good on ya mate for noting that one of them (demand) has likely changed for DDR...wanna take a stab at guessing what has happened to the other variable (supply) for DDR so as to make the net effect of pricing = the same?

(hint = supply has decreased in concert with decreasing demand)
