im confused about the 1.3ghz thunderbird

it seems to me like most kt133 motherboards dont have anything higher then a 12.5x multiplier. yet amd is releasing this cpu that is intended to run on a 100mhz bus.

will bios updates fix this? but what about motherboards that use jumpers? are there jumper settings for 13x?

me again, just to clear up confusion im NOT talking about the new palomino core. im refering to the thunderbird, just higher clock speed

I have an unlocked 1.2 TBird. If I set my mutliplier to 12.5X, and my FSB to 100, it boots up as 1300Mhz, with a bus speed of 104Mhz.

Could this be a clue? 🙂
