I purchased a house in January, updated my license immediately and my registration but it was never processed. When I checked the county's website for my polling station, my wife's info was listed but mine wasn't. I then checked the county where we lived previously (they intertwine so neighbors can be in different counties) and lo and behold, I am still listed there.

So I go to vote this AM and I am told that I have to do it via a provisional. When I am done with the paperwork, the polling station worker informs me that I will receive notification in the mail as to whether or not my vote is going to be counted!

WTF mate? What possible reason should my vote not be counted? I did my part and updated all of my info and even drove 15 miles out of the way to go to the freaking old addy's polling place.

I'm gonna be pissed if I get a letter telling me that I'm SOL.

Maybe sometime in March you should have looked into why your registration wasn't processed... NOT freaking election day.

This is obviously the result of some kind of orchestrated plan to disenfranchise you. God knows the government never fucks up things like this.

After reading your post, it's clear you're not qualified to make an informed decision and cast a ballot, I hope it gets tossed
