I'm beginning to think I'm a hypochondriac

So I took the blood pressures of everyone at my work today, and they were ALL high... not ONE person was normal.

Makes me wonder if these "120/80 guidelines" are really all they are cracked up to be. EVERYONE I took was high, yet how many of those people will die when they are 30? Probably no one...

*sigh*

I worry too much.

Just because it's "normal" now doesn't mean it's good for you. Even if everyone around weighs 300lbs doesn't mean that it's a healthy weight.

are your co-workers in good shape or do you work at a donut shop.
just the idea of getting your blood pressure taken shoots most peoples over the average.

"Hypochondriac" means that you always think that you are ill or have some illness or disease. Today you are upset that everyone at work "has high blood pressure." You're concerned about others. You're an Empath...or something like that. You don't care if YOU die; you just don't want anyone else to die. You're such a good person.

A humanitarian! We should all be like you.

Your first problem is that you think exceeding some medically suggested limit somehow means an automatic death sentence. You could be hypertensive your entire life and show no symptoms, or you could be 100/50 and die while running your 100th marathon.

From what I've seen, you are a hypochondriac. At the very least you worry far too much about everything.

I might be a hypochondriac too, altho my doctor disagrees. But what does he know, I've got about every fatal illness known to man and he's yet to diagnose a single one of them.

Dude where do you work where you can just walk around to everyone and take their blood pressure? I'd get some strange looks if I asked people if I could that.

You are over 120/80?

Nothing to be concerned about.

Can I have your computer after you're gone?
