Just came back for the International Festival in Lafayette, LA.

Had a great time inspite of heavy rains on Saturday and Sunday.

The highlight was a private party on Saturday. Nice people and plenty of food: 500 lbs of HUGE crawfish, two roasted pigs, fried shrimp and catfish, boudin and deer sausage and pleny of beer.

Cajuns are warm, friendly people. Looking forward to going back again.

My brother is a semi famous chef is bossier city/shreeveport.

I have never been, but keep promising I will take him up on his offer for a visit.
