I went to france (riviera and Provence) for about two weeks and thats why noone has heard from me for awhile... inlcuding those long long list of pms that were returned as soon as i logged on. 🙂

Welp, just saying hi to everyone and hope i didn't miss much while i was gone.

Welcome back, that reminds me I still need to call Kim at Dell and ask her how many calls and e-mails she received from the "friends of Ross" campaign.

Take any pictures while you were there?

yeah i did.
alas my photography skills aren't exactly sharp but once i get them developed i'll scan some and post em on my site or something. 🙂
Lots of pretty flowers and lavender as well as amazingly blue coast.
I unfortunately didn't get to take as many pictures as i wish as we were constantly on the move however. 🙁 But still enabled me to cover pretty much the entire south eastern region of france.

Hows things with you Rossman! And don't you ever sleep man? hehe 😉

"You mean you survived for two weeks without Internet? A-ma-zing!"

I know, however it was very oddly refreshing to be deprived of internet access. Kind of a cleansing if you may :Q

I'm lucky i survived at all in marseille! :Q I caught an algerian guy grab my bag with money passport, tickets etc right when he was trying to steal it and grabbed his shirt as he ran. Thankfully he dropped the bag and ran when i lost grip on his shirt as he ran around the corner out the door. :Q
Imagine that though, five minutes after getting off the train from paris to marseille and already i run into thieves. BAH.

Good to be home. Not that certain places here aren't as bad. 🙂

they like to sun bathe on the riviera. 😀

and the answer to the question running through your mind is "yes they do."
However, the yin and yang is in full effect with this situation and be prepared to encounter both good and bad. 😀

I loved the French Riviera, the smell the chocolate croissants in the moning, and the topless beaches are still fresh in my mind, but I enjoyed Paris even more. I took that same train ride from Paris to Marseille, we were followed by a disturbed individual the whole way....actually from Belgium, Paris and then to Marseille:Q

Dang Buddhist, I thought you'd died of love or something. Welcome home and glad to see you had an exciting adventure.

France Rocks! I was there in March of this year in Paris and also Nice etc. Ran off about 23 rolls of film also. One of these days I will scan some of them in.

Viper22, I don't think France has near the earthquake activity Buddhist is used to. Me and him are both ground zero type people, ground zero as in San Andreas.

Last summer I was on a train from Lyon to Strasbourg, and there was a bum in the seat in front of us. I'm Chinese, and I guess there aren't many Chinese people in southern France. The guy wanted me to karate chop him in the neck. He even leaned over the back of his seat and gestured for me.

Great.
