I'm at the boot screen and I can't move the cursor ?

Within my mobo bios screen I can move the cursor with the arrow keys. But when I'm at the boot screen and I want to chosse where to boot from it won't move and no lights on my keyboard.

It was moving earlier today at the boot screen. But was upset earlier about something won't go in details anyway I power off with power button while installing win xp. Since then I can't boot the from the install disk anymore with my new HDD.

I put back my old HDD and the pc boots up like before no probs keyboards works fine.

But still when I go to the boot screen I can't move the cursor anymore. I think I may of messed something up when I powered down at the wrong time. Because of this I can not install my xp boot cd on this pc/HDD.

Please help someone. I reset the mobo bios it didn't do anything.
 
You messed up the bootmanager. You'll need to go threw the whole install proccess again. Its not good to cut the power while trying to install the OS. It messes things up. So you'll have to start from scratch.
