My.favorite beer is the self-righteous black IPA, and they are serving a version with a very subtle hint of cherry. Very good, I am definitely warm around the eyes.

Food is good...had an appetizer of quail quarters with a sriracha honey glaze so far.

Overall impressed.

I'm still trying to get into IPAs and Stone doesn't really seem to be the place for "beginner" IPA drinkers. I am starting to like their porters though. I got a fill of their Suede Imperial Porter last time and I quite enjoyed it. I have no clue about beer, so it's fun to get a different fill from Stone every so often and see what ones I like.
 
I liked the place but not the beer. LOL im not into IPAs. Also didnt like they dont have a sign saying where they are. While im in there i ask why they dont have a sign and they say we dont like to advertise. So i turn around and realize in in a merchandise room with shirts, cups, hats, etc. Im like...sure you dont.
 
Arrogant bastard ale is more like a hop syrup then a beer. I LOVE IPAs, but damn bro. Currently have dominion ale double d in the fridge.... just as intense, but probably more so. Can't session drink stuff at all! 😛

Just picked up a 6.5 gal carboy and a bunch of other stuff for my first attempt at a good homebrew. Already used a Mr beer kit, but that shit is bogus.
