I'm at a conundrum

Well, my new system wouldn't boot because, according to the motherboard LEDs, the memory was damaged or not properly installed. Now, I know it was installed correctly, I tried taking one of the sticks out and all, but it still didn't work. OCZ Reaper, BTW. Now, I put the Corsair XMS2 from my old computer in and it boots fine (1GB stick). Do you think I need to put the voltage up to the Reaper stock in the BIOS or did I just get bad memory?

I would assume the ram needs more voltage. Without knowing what board you have this is just a guess!

So yes set bios to recomended voltage for ram.
