All they say is "send resume in ASCII format via email'... should I include anything in the email itself? Or just a resume? Should I do the whole

"To whom it may concern: Attached please find my resume..."

Or should I be myself?

Any advice?

yeah, as in plain text ... they don't want a word document.

But thats besides the point ... what should I put in the EMAIL.

I'd put the cover letter in the e-mail, attach the resume as a .txt document. And send the e-mail in ASCII mode too, just in case their anal about that. :)

It boils down to this - you're not going to blow your shot at getting a job there if you do it one way vs. the other.

What kinds of things get included in a cover letter to a "big company". (Most of my previous interviews have been in person-dinner interviews and they didn't get my resume till after they had met me)
