Symptoms you are likely to notice: You may feel abdominal pain or diarrhea and excess gas after becoming infested with tapeworm. You may also experience nausea and vomiting. Anal itching or inflammation are other common symptoms. White, ribbonlike worm segments can sometimes be seen in the stool, clothing, or bedclothes. Hunger, fatigue, loss of appetite, and weight loss occur if the condition is not treated. Rarely other organs of the body, including the brain, can be affected.

Symptoms your physician may observe: Your physician may take a stool sample or an anal scraping to detect worms or eggs.

More Tapeworm info just in case :)

Yes, I'm familiar with Google. And also, seeing this thread I thought I might have a similar thing. I sometimes wake up in the early morning hungry, I figure just cause I don't eat enough..

I think I may have a tapeworm :Q.

I am really skinny anyways, but over the last few months I have been having less and less of an appetite. This is bad because I need to gain weight. I've never seen any worms in my stool though;). Seriously, should I go to a doctor?

less of an appetite = not a tapeworm

Tapeworms eat the food you should be getting, so you should be more hungry
