I'm also looking for 24" LCD recommendations

I have a few key specs that aren't negotiable...

1) Must support HDCP
2) Must offer at least HDMI, DVI and VGA (and preferably component as well)
3) NO TN panels. None.

So far, the Dell 2408WFP looks like the best overall candidate. Of course, saying the display type is TFT Active Matrix tells me precisely nothing. LG also has a non-TN model that looks excellent, except for the devastating issue that it does not offer an HDMI port!

Here are some of the options I'm considering:

this KDS monitor has a lot of features, an irresistable price, but I just am skeptical...

The LG L246WP-BN, which seems a BIT overpriced...

And the Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP. Right now, that's the one I'm leaning towards.

I may go for a 26" for $100 more. But NewEgg has bad returns on LCDs.

is there anything else out there I should know about? It's pretty much down to the Dell, or the DoubleSight for $100 more with a guaranteed S-IPS panel.

Thoughts? I need any and all. I'll be using this primarily for Blu-Ray HD.

I found that the price of the Dell, after tax is added in, compared to the price of the DoubleSight from Buy.com (with $15 off coupon, and Google Checkout) were so close that it made no difference, so I'm just waiting for Buy.com to get the DoubleSight back in at the end of this month or early May. The only feature I really wanted on the Dell that the DS doesn't have is height adjustment, but I can live without that since it's an S-IPS panel and not TN. The DS also apparently has issues working with HD cable boxes due to them not using HDCP, but I can live without that as well.

You're right, the 26" DoubleSight does look very attractive. At that price it's hard to beat.
