azureus is what I use... seems to work pretty well, although I admit I have never tried any other bittorrent client

Well... truth to be told, I am using my machine for torrents and as a ftp/vnc server for my 3 brothers. Since I have unlimited 8Mb/1Mb connection, courtesy of my firm, it does see a lot of traffic.

Yea, if a legit download has a bittorrent option, I'll usually use it. Except when it's setup to eat all of your upload without being able to limit it then I avoid it (Blizzard I'm looking at you).

I love torrenting too, just to get stuff to get it. I tend to do it in bursts. Like I'll download a couple 100 at once, let it go for a few months, let it seed for a while longer after they're all done, then turn it off. I have a VM running transmission and have traffic shaping setup on my pfsense box so it's out of sight out of mind.

I still have tons of stuff I did not even touch yet lol.

Tons of Linux distros too.
