I'm actually thinking about taking off from work to watch Star Wars...

Did the samething for the 1st two episodes and the 3 LOTRs. Nothing like watching a long ass film by yourself.

If you do then I will won't put in a request for the day off and just work normally.

I actually travelled thousands of miles to see Episode One. I won't make THAT mistake again :p

I've already got my tickets for the midnight showing. Took 2 (!) days off of work for it, will probably order some tickets for a daytime showing today. Plan to be in line most of Wednesday.

I was in a mall for Episode I with some friends....complete with TV/VCR showing Ep. 4, sleeping bags, chairs, loooots of Mountain Dew, a couple chairs, a potted plant, and 2 computers networked together for playing Starcraft on. We got some funny looks from the old folks.

For Ep. 2, I drove hundreds of miles to see the movie.

Wow, that's the type of thing the girl in my dreams do! :)

I took off an entire week, flew to Los Angeles, and watched it in all the best theatres over and over... then I cursed Jarar Lucas!!! :p

shouldnt you have realized that it sucked the first time you watched it?

i hope episode 3 is dark. the new starwars movies are so childish..lucas writes such poor dialogue.

edit for typos

Eh, wait till its on the $1 rack at Blockbuster. I'm in no hurry to see Ep 3... I still haven't seen Ep 2. Its too bad. I really liked Eps 4, 5, and 6.

It'll still be the same movie when the DVD is in the $4.99 bin, and you won't have to miss work. ;)

I'm pretty sure that it will never be in the $4.99 bin.
