Critics are Duech bags they know NOTHING about a good movie.
 
i simply LOVED this movie, watched it with my best friends a few months before it was in theaters over here while we were juss chillin.

Also, supposedly there are a lot of inside jokes that are lost in translation, some having to do with common chinese stories and the such.

All in all i think it was an amazing movie to watch.

I laughed a little enjoyed the whole movie.
 
it was kind of retarded, but yes you won't think it's that funny without the chinese implications and jokes
 
Kung Fu Hustle, or Crazy Kung Fu for those Europeans, is a crappy movie. I didn't laugh once and their jokes are a bit immature for the adult audience. If you don't like HK-style movie, you probably won't like this one.
 
Umm why are movies like this so good? I saw Shaolin Soccer and it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Whats so good about these movies? I guess you have to know Chinese to enjoy these movies
 
KFH was good, but I liked Shaolin Soccer much better.

I don't know a word of Chinese and I love these movies. I have no idea if this would add to anyone's enjoyment, but watch them with the original audio track and english subtitles. The translations, though not nearly as bad as they used to be, are comedy gold.

Personally, I can't stand dubbing, and it completely takes me out of the movie, regardless of what type it is (comedy, drama, etc.).
