Ill keep my Fragbook thanks

unfortunately, your 20 lb. 'laptop' won't fit into a bag with a few law books, nor would it have fit onto my credit card when i needed to buy a laptop.

I have no problems taking it to work with my System Engineer and other MS hardbound books =P
it weighs 7 pounds and guess what .. it works....

bonus...

Definitely a nice machine, but if I paid 3-4 times what a comparable Dell would cost, I'd expect a fully-functional oral-sex attachment.

there is No compareable Dell at any price...
to even the bottom line Fragbook or Alienware... Invalid comparison =P

Only laptops even in the same league are Hypersonic VoodooPC Alienware and beleive it or not... Apple..

I'd rather have a ThinkPad than any of the computers you mentioned, in that they are equally well-made, and the IBM can be serviced locally and doesn't carry the same embarrassing teenage vibe IMO. No question they're all great machines, though, and better than a Dell. That doesn't justify your nasty comments, however.

nice job...

next time buy a real laptop

crappy, maybe, indian tech support definitely, but you just try to find me a cheaper notebook.

what is wrong with it: infinite loop error for the graphics whenever both the graphics driver and the agp driver are installed. it won't even boot fully. removing the agp driver is the better of the fixes, but it still loses graphics performance.

i tried formatting the computer, but that didn't help. i'm trying it one more time, but installing chipset and graphics before SP2, in case some driver in sp2 caused the problem.

I fear SP2

A real laptop either has a stickshift with ball bearings or a cockpit.

At least you can open your window to throw it out!

Alrighty then! You have a WPA issue as MS does not require you to register windows. Sounds like you're gonna have to boot in the repair console to fix that.

ah ha!
sp2 is the culprit! (sorta)
as soon as i installed sp2 i get the same error.

interestingly, the notebook functioned fine for 5 months or so with sp2 installed.

nope, nm. uninstalled sp2, put the chipset drivers back on it, and it stopped working right again
