Just keep an eye on it - you may run into temp problems as you clock higher. Don't be afraid to back the voltage down if you're pushing the temp envelope.

55C? I was planning to make 60C the highest temps I would let this thing hit. Well whatever is safer for this chip I suppose.
edit: How do I stress test both cores at the same time?
edit: It hit 60C, so 2150MHZ will be the hardest I push this chip without further cooling.

60 is okay, but I wouldn't want mine flirting too close to 60 - I just said 55 to be extra extra careful ;)
If you're using Stress Prime 2004, you can Set the CPU you test on using a drop down box. If you're using Prime95 - check here - that explains how to stress both cores.

If you want to try for more, you can back your volts down and see if it will go any further.

ok, so I set it to 2200MHZ, right away it flashed to a blue screen and said beginning phizical dump.

:Q OH NOES! Well, that's not a bad run. If you ever end up looking for a better cooler, I love how quiet my Scythe Mine` is. Sorry it didn't work out any better for you, smartazz - good luck!

Well, thanks for your help, I think I might wait until this cpu needs an overclock before I start the heavy overclocking with a better cooling system, maybe I'll pick up a Scythe Mine, keep me posted how your overclocking goes, thanks.

Mine is Asus A8N E. If it is unable to boot into wincdows it just restarts and I can change the BIOS again. No CMOS worries for me.
