I'm about to knock out my upstairs neighbors. . .they make my apartment feel like I'm in an earthquake and drop so many things. . .it sucks. . .any suggestions I can do besides bang on the ceiling with a broom???
 
Have you tried to be civilized about it first? Maybe go up there and let them know in a nice way that they sound like a herd of buffalo running through the ceiling. And who knows.. maybe you sound like that to the people below you. Thin floors.

I have to deal with a noisy roommate. The guy is the loudest human alive. Every thing he does is loud: walking, opening and closing doors, cupboards, and drawers, talking, laughing, typing, using soft inanimate objects. He wakes me up every single night when he comes in late. It's only when he keeps me up that I lose it. For instance, last night I got out of bed, completely naked, walked into his room and asked, "WTF are you making so much noise for!? It's nearly four am!?"

He went straight to bed.

Got to love the assphats that live in apartments but don't care about other around them. I have called the campus police on the guy below me twice in the last week once at 5am and then another 3 am.
