I think the funniest part was the guy who went up against "Fatal1ty" in the UT tourney semifinal - he was talking all kinds of smack, and even his friends were sure he would lose. He ended up getting his ass kicked, which made it even funnier. 😀

There was someone in my dorm back when i was in college that mudded all throughout his first quarter and promptly failed and dropped out by the 2nd quarter. He was mudding on 4 seperate muds at the same time. 4 windows - quite pathetic.

I actually did see this. Other than the "fatal1ty" guy that show was basically just "the secret life of utter losers". The Order of Light guys were especially pathetic....who keeps a sh*t job for years on end just to have more time to game?

He's making pretty good money at it right now. $15K for winning the worlds. He normally takes home $200-$1000 a month from the online tournament. Plus, money games can get brutal up there. I'd say he rarely comes home from the bar a loser. Then, there are usually 4-6 live tournaments a year that he usually does fairly well in ($200-$2000/ea). His Memphis showing was not typical. He also gets money for apperances. He's doing pretty well for himself right now.

Even if i was a professional gamer like fatality or the golden tee man, i think i'd still work a regular job... at least part time.

Is it me or is gaming just queer anymore? Id is the only reason I'm still into games. Console games are lame and multiplayer FPS's are too competitive. Everything is becoming dull to me except for reading and writing. I hope games come to an end pretty soon.

They did a feature on three "gamers". One guy was the Golden Tee golf world champion. One guy was the guy who played the perfect Pac-Man game a while back.
