Why will it be cross posted? Because I'm a whiny bitch.

FVCK rainy weather. I'm hurting like all hell. I had to go to the pain management clinic today and had a total of 10 injections in my back. Yes, 10. I had 5 injections to numb the areas and 5 trigger point injections. We keep wanting to be able to do shots in my knees and in my SI joint, but something else always hurts worse and I can't get there. UUUUGGGGHHHH

I wanted to go to fvcking Wal-Mart or something to look for a new winter coat since I've lost weight and no longer have a winter coat. I wanted to shop for other stuff, but NOOOOOO my body has to betray me yet again.

Sorry, but I needed to complain somewhere. I'll probably cross post this, but damnit, I'm tired of hurting!!!! I called Tim after the injections and started crying. I'm a mess. :(

I think she has Rheumatoid Arthritis. My sister was diagnosed with it when she was 4.

:(

I feel pretty lousy also. I'm with some cold/ flu thing. I knew it was coming on the past few days and it hit me last night and this morning. I took the day off work as I couldn't get out of bed :(

I do feel better now but I am still ill. I'll make it in to work tomorrow as I don't like to miss work.

Hope you feel better soon

I have LiveJournal and my own forums (along with here), so I have plenty of places to whine.

I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and carpal tunnel and tendonitis and TMJ and....well, the list could go on, but I'll stop there. No need in getting depressed as well. :p

Meltdown - Thank you.

Koing - I hope you feel better as well. When Tim feels a cold coming on, he takes Cold Eeze (I think that's how you spell it anyway.) and he swears by the stuff. He's rarely sick, so it must be good, right? lol

Do weather changes always affect you so much?

Most times yes, unfortunately. I'm like a human barometer. I'll ask Tim if it's supposed to rain (because I'll be hurting) and he'll say he doesn't think so and BAM, it rains. Not every single weather change hurts me, but rainy weather almost always does me in.

hzl, have you been tested for lyme disease? You should check into that..many of the symptoms are the same as fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia is a bit of a medical hot-button...some doctors swear by, others don't think it exists at all. I'm no doctor, but I've been married to two women who were diagnosed with it, and depending on what doctor they went to, the treatments and advice were all over the board. Basically, it's an umbrella to cover symptoms that are common in women who are depressed, don't sleep well, and don't regularly excercise. I'm not saying you are any of the above, and in fact if you have arthritis, particularly rhematoid (sp?) then you are going to have issues anyway.

Good luck with your conditions.

I hope you feel better soon. My sister has RA and some other stuff as well, so I know what you're going through.

Keep your head high!

Why blog when you have your entire own forum?

well, some of us want to go fancy and install your own forums, blog software, management system, etc on our server just for the hell of it. For some odd reason, my blog software just doesn't work anymore. *shrug* not that I used it much anyways.

Probably not much help, but have a cyber-hug!

Somebody smack me if I ever gripe about anything. Compared to Heather, I've got NOTHING to complain about!

I hate to even mention this, but have you been tested for MS? Your symptoms sound exactly like my wife a few years back. fibro, tmj,ct, injections. Although the day she was diagnosed with MS was tough to come to grips with, it was a good day. She has been being treated for the root cause (MS) and not the symptoms for several years now and is doing much better. Consider getting an MRI to find out

I don't think I've been tested for lyme disease. I've been diagnosed with fibro by at least 4 or more doctors. I test positive for most tender points. :( I'm just generally achy all over most of the time. I've been tested for rheumatoid arthritis, but I don't have it. (That's a good thing.) I've been told I have osteoarthritis in my left knee probably because I've had surgery in it. I know some doctors don't believe in fibromyalgia and some do. So far, my docs out here do.

EDIT:

Mojoed - I hope your sis is okay. My best friend has RA and it isn't a fun thing to have.

Ornery - Compared to other people, I don't have anything to complain about as well. I feel bad sometimes for complaining, but sometimes it helps. :( Thanks for the hug. :)

GuitarDaddy - I've had several MRIs and I've never been told I have MS. I had a brain tumor when I was 18, so MRIs were a normal thing for me. I'll have to look at the symptoms. I hope your wife does well. *HUG for her*

I defiantely should have been on the meds when I first started the 'going to be ill' feeling about 4-5 days ago :(.

depending on the severity of the arthritis, it could heal itlsef if you give the articular cartilage a chance to heal (ie, by not subjecting the involved oints to constant load). If not, you'll only make the problem worse by further wearing away at the artilage until the underlying bones are exposed, and that bone could very well grow into the space in between your joints and make it a permanent thing...
